Can I build a moment that isn’t on this page?
Yes. These six are examples. Scan, Capture and Compare are separate calls, so you can use any one of them on its own, or all three in the order your flow needs, from your own screens.
Which plan do these moments need?
Scan and Capture are on every plan: 30 a month free on Spark, 500 on Build and unlimited from Launch. Liveness checks are included from Launch. Compare is on every plan too, starting with 15 comparisons a month on Spark.
Does Veris keep the photos or documents?
No. Scan and Capture run on the phone, and nothing is uploaded to Veris. For Compare, your server sends the two images, they’re compared in memory, and Veris doesn’t keep a copy.
Does Scan tell me if an ID is fake?
No. Scan reads documents and returns their fields; it doesn’t judge whether a document is genuine. Pair it with Capture and Compare, so you know the person holding the ID is the person on it.
Can the screens match my app?
Your own screens stay yours. Veris only shows its camera screens for Scan and Capture. The Veris name on the capture screen is required on Spark, co-branded on Build and removed from Launch up.
Which documents can my customers use?
Five IDs: NIN slip, national ID card, driver’s licence, international passport and voter’s card. And four proofs of address: electricity, water and waste bills, and bank statements.
